Kovalainen has been given a 5 place grid penalty for changing the gearbox - if anyone didn't already know, that's why he ground to a halt in Q2.

Looks like vettel has 2-3 laps on lewis

Didn't see your post when i posted for some reason

Anyway, i'm surprised that the Brawns were that light! I think fuel corrected Hamilton was still 2-3 tenths faster than the Red Bulls... hmm... could be closer than i thought tomorrow, cause KERS generally hasn't provided anywhere near as much of a lap time benefit in the race.

Now we need a "blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-ing" moment from Kovalainen. :hehe:

Would not surprise me!

That's a really dumb strategy call by Mclaren. Lewis was pole by half a second - that's totally wasted time. They should have fuelled him heavier. Even if he had just missed out on pole because of a heavier fuel load, the advantage of kers means that being 2nd or 3rd is not a massive hindrance. Poor by Mclaren. He's probably still favourite, though.

I quite agree they have done it a couple of times this season! But yeah Lewis still has the car and position to win he should pull away by at least 2 tenths per a lap If Lewis keeps his pace up he will be around 4 seconds ahead by the time of the first stops.

totally agree with you. Poor decision to put him so light considering he was a class of his own in Q1 and Q2. They made the same mistake in Monza and look what happen. Though tomorrow things are looking much better for him.

He needs a 3-4 sek. gap which i think he can do!

Yeh but once lewis wins the organizers might get a little upset with Ferrari out of the points at the back of the grid and change that theme park's name to a proper F1 team.

A proper F1 team??

Anyway back to the qualifying Lewis made that track his biatch and got a well deserved pole.

Still this track should not be the last GP of the season. Brazil has been epic for years. Really hope Brazil will stay as the last race

As I said; Abu Dhabi would favour the brave; and Lewis Hamilton is probably the bravest driver out there as proved when he pushes a little too hard...

Change is inevitable and for the most part a good/positive thing and atleast Brazil is still on the calender right? I have been following F1 for 30yr's and have witnessed my fair share of changes and just accept it for what it is.
