Congrats are in order i must say
But i think it's going to be good for the sport to give us all a chance to see what teams are going to pull through with the 2009 season under way. Interesting at most I must say :D I think this weekend will be very interesting to watch while I see Ferrari trying to pull some stunts to even get a few points  Lets hope for a decent race ahead.

I heard one of the tricks up Ferrari's sleeve is to not show up for their second qualifying session, than start both driver's on wet tires in the dry...
Actually they've decided against running their KERS system this weekend in hopes of being more reliable. They've also stocked the freezer with more ice cream bars in hope that Kimi will not be distracted when there's only one Magnum left. :hehe:

i wonder if Mclaren can just remove the the two bits on theirs and have a brawn style double layer diffuser?

So they had one in the works... interesting. Wouldn't mind seeing what Renault have done too.

it looks as though there is a slot there but its kinda hard to tell from this pic i think. even if there is a slot there i doubt it would be as efficient as Brawns diffuser.

Indeed. It looks like the active area in terms of downforce is much smaller and clumsier than the Brawn.

Why are williams not haveing the same effect as toyota and brawn

I think the difference in pace stems from a different area on the car, actually. They're certainly fast enough, as demonstrated by Rosberg in practice and in getting a fastest lap this year. I think one of their troubles is being slower on the heavier fuel loads, so they've made the decision to run heavy in practice this weekend and see if they can work on that.

good they got it in so rapid its gonna give extra downforce.

Not much, but McLaren need all the help they can get with that car.

Surely if mclaren just copy brawn it wont actually work that well, each one should be designed to the airo dynamics of the car.

Yep, but they won't literally just copy them...
