Did anyone go To Wembley to see Muse?

No. They went to Dublin and said they'd probably be going to Belfast, so I thought I'd wait to see if they did. As it happened, they didn't, and there no tickets for Dublin left. :director:

They're a great band. I definitely want to see them at some stage. I'll keep my eyes peeled for venues. If you travel to Belfast and I'm back home, I'll have to show the sites of Ulster.

Im actually going to see Queen on Saturday.

Lucky mofo!!!
Do you know if Paul Rogers from Bad Company will be the singer? Last year I saw on our local PBS station a QUEEN re-union type concert, Paul was a great fillin for Freddie. Sound's to me like I need to check and see if they will be doing a US tour.

Aye, he's been with em for 2-3 years now, they've just released a new album.
It's not Queen without Freddie, but your right Paul does a great job.
It'll be fun. If I manage to catch Brian or Roger i'll see if I can get a pic

You lucky, lucky, lucky git. That's it, I'm not speaking to you any more!!!

I do think Paul Rodgers is actually quite good fronting the band when it comes to their old stuff, but I'm really not so keen on what I've heard of their latest album (haven't bought it yet because I'm really not convinced). It sounds a bit like a bad mix from Roger & Brian's solo careers from what I've heard so far, and I think they are really missing both Freddie and John's input. Have you got the latest album? Will it grow on me?!

I also still have massive difficulty in thinking of them as "Queen" because only 50% of the band is left :(

Anyway, for me, I'm into my random trashy dance music (Scooter, Sash, ATB, Fragma) and 'popular' classical at the moment (Elgar's Nimrod, Bach's Toccata & Fugue, Rachmaninoff's piano concertos :))

lol Awwww, I'll miss you

I mean I think most people know Rodgers most famous songs, he's alright, Brian and Rodger love him so I guess they must think he does Freddie Proud.

That's an interesting point tho, because I have always been annoyed that they can still market the Queen name without John. In my opinion they shouldn't but nobody listens anyways, when money is concerned.

I've listened to some of the album, it's not terrible, but I can see what you mean about the solo careers.
Im happy to report there ain't any songs that sound like Taylor's Nazi's tho :hehe:
