It will still make some difference, Button now is not on the clean side, kinda dashed some of his minimal optimism I think.

Well apparently he was at his normal weight after free practice, then 1.5 kgs underweight at the end of qualifying. Definitely not the team's fault, as so many are trying to make it out as.

Woo two Aussies in the top 5 :cloud9: and Sutil in 6th :D

I really like Ricciardo's chances today for a variety of reasons:

1) The Mercs are expected to drop back.
2) A typically slow-starting Webber is on the dirty side of the track (although his starts have been better of late).
3) Toro Rosso have found some pretty impressive race form in the past couple of races.

If things work out as per my delusional fantasy: a) We could have a Red Bull 1-2-3 and b) 2 Aussies on the podium, which could probably be the first time that has ever happened....

Interesting seeing your prediction re. Sutil dropping back. If the Mercs have another Catalunya-esque race, I'd place good money on him for a podium. FI's race pace has been great.

Damn...Diresta must be highly PI$$ed right now....that's 3 times in a row his team have buggered him up on a Saturday.

Sorry. How is it the teams fault that HE was underweight, and not the car......?

He lost 1 kg by driving 7-8 laps? Are you like f**king serious right now?

It's the combined limit, do you honestly think the driver weight limit is 650kg? Montoya isn't driving now you know :hehe:

Also I was joking about that Ferrari thing.

Yeah since its the combined limit, if Di Resta loses 1 kg in the space of an hour, the 'car' will be underweight wouldn't it.

Wolff has already said he expects this to be a Redbull race and Mercedes are just running their own pace today for damage limitation.

Lol Perez overtook his pet Button again.

Lewis and Massa within 2 laps.....hey Pirelli. NICE MARKETING B**CHES!!!
#364524
That'll depend on the cause of the tyre failures. If it is a manufacturing fault then yeah it's bad for Pirelli but if there is debris on the track or the drivers are running too far over teh kerbs then it is not the fault of Pirelli in the slightest.
