I'm sure Ide and Yamamoto are still available to race in F1. They'd make us popular in Japan and bring a decent bit of money... and we'd get on TV a lot with all the inevitable accidents.

Assuming that they are not around next year, how will the qualifying format work?

22 cars in Q1 - 6 go out

16 Cars in Q2 - 6 go out

10 Cars in Q3.

All it means is that 2 of the "established teams" drivers will go out, and it will be harder for Caterham to get into Q2.

Can I be the PR person? :D

I want to be that
And whoever said Lewis and Kobi for drivers, I'll take that  and if the media start their nonsense about Lewis, they'll have me to deal with....and it wont be pretty!!

I thought Ide had his Super license taken off him. That is why he got dropped mid season.

Out of work HRT mechanics in drunken brawl at factory

A brawl broke out at the Madrid headquarters of beleaguered Formula 1 team HRT after staff returned from Sao Paulo, El Mundo newspaper reports.

The report said the fight involved drunk mechanics who had gone straight from the airport to the team’s factory to collect compensation for their redundancies.

“The atmosphere heated up and police had to be called to intervene,” said the report.

A member of the failing team’s management confirmed: “They began to threaten, push, hit; and because there was a violent situation we did call the police.”
