Well, BBC did a pretty good job, but, there were also things that they just couldn't say ON AIR. If you know what I mean.

Anyway, I found this one today, it's pretty interessting. :hehe:

Do you know why I wrote that?

Anyway, best proof for my taughts is my experience... I lived through 2 wars in a short period of time. And yes, most of you were completelly blinded by your media regarding the situation here.

Have you lived in Banja Luka all your life?

Why do you say western media was blinded? Surly you must accept that the Media of Republika Srpska was bias towards their cause?

truth? that he is a mighty brave figure defending Libya from evil westerners? I find the illustration offensive! Aside from the fact Gaddafi is nothing like what he is being portrayed in this illustration, they should swap the sword with a machine gun shooting at his own people!

I said sarcastic, 'cause, it's obvious that he is pictured like a freaking Rambo!
But, the part with oil pumps... Fantastic!

Not fair if i speak truthfully. Itd be naive to think western countries like those pictured wouldnt do things like say " we're freeing libya" when all they want is the black gold.

This coming from someone whos sitting entirely on the fence, cause whilst i watch the news and observe all sides, i really couldnt care less when it comes down to it. No point bursting a blood vessel my whole life for something im not going to change (ie dictators will always be around, and western governments will always try to secure their own futures before others)

Let's be honest the UN is behind this unlike Iraq I do not feel the UNs intentions are anything more than helping the Rebels.

Yeh considering they already had oil companies in libiya.

If it was just about oil it would of been easier to help gadadif supress the rebellion

We are being honest bud, nobody here is lieing, or has some vested interest in defending the UN or Gaddifi, its disagreeing.

Like i said i sit on the fence and i listen. Sounds idealistic but i feel what the UN NATO etc was essentially created for is a New World Order, but only in the sense that there is no conflict between any nation, all nations are led by an accountable democracy, and encouraged to participate with its neighbours (north american union, EU, Arab League) the more the world is globalised the less conflict there is, disease is not the worst thing that can happen in the world, poverty isnt, war is,. As such it is the immediate priority of those with the power to do so to start the long, arduous and sometimes seemingly pointless task to eventually make the world a conflict free zone. Starting conflicts like in Libya is a necessary evil rather then Procrastinating forever where eventually, more people would die over a period of time then a short sharp burst of deaths and nipping the problem dead.

The world isnt like it was 100 years ago, nobody survives if they dont stick together, apart from switzerland of course they do pretty well. The goal is for democracy and liberal thinking world over. BUT, its stupid to think Oil isnt on the agenda.

Lybia might be getting more support due to the Oil situation, by there's a genuine cause there, of course nations are engaging for their own interests, but still, this isn't really an invasion and the rebels do seem really well organised, they're prepared to accept the necessary help, but are cautious against being overruled.
