got a feeling chelsea will win the prem and champions league this year.

they were better than barca last year, only to be knocked out by 'that' ref. plus they've got drogba going at it fully this year. him and anelka will be deadly.

They got knocked out because they missed a hatful of easy chances. No point blaming the ref when fate's in your own hands.

Also you have to think a lot of chelsea's players will go to the african cup of nations for a month or so in january.

True, but it's not that long a tournament is it? They should have Joe Cole and Zhirkov back fit by then though. I think their weakness is more likely to be their temperamental strike partners, it only takes them to get the strops over something and wins turn into draws. And United don't seem to start their season til January, they've still got my backing.

True, but it's not that long a tournament is it? They should have Joe Cole and Zhirkov back fit by then though. I think their weakness is more likely to be their temperamental strike partners, it only takes them to get the strops over something and wins turn into draws. And United don't seem to start their season til January, they've still got my backing.

I don't think the comp is that long but they go away with their countries for a week or so before hand.I never think chelsea look the same side when Essian isn't palying,Drogba aswell for that matter.They will go close in most things as the squad is probly the strongest out of our big 4.

We can afford to but I'm hoping Capello's reign of resurgence continues. It's a shame Modric is out but we can (and will ) only beat who's infront of us.

Nah, it's all pre-season child's play right now. Kickoff of the real thing will be September 10th.
