Just as it says...

I'm afraid I haven't got any pedals though would like a flanger (I think) but that's just because I've been playing a few songs from The Holy Bible where I think a flnager is used a lot.

Only got a 15W amp but it's loud enough given that I live in a tenement flat and I don't know who lives below me (if I find out that they're deaf I'll crank the volume up! :hehe: )

Anyway, here's my gear seeing as we're sharing photos!

Not really what I've done for today, but more the past couple of weeks:

Unfortunately I've been noticing a decline in my memory and cognitive ability - coupled with periods of all over body numbness. In September last year I had an MRI of my brain and it showed nothing. But it's really declined in the past few months and on Monday a new CT Scan showed a cyst in my brain 1.8cm wide. :(

Not as bad as other nasties that could be found in there, but my memory is getting pretty bad, and now I'm losing the ability to do basic maths and have a few other concerns. It has been really affecting my work. I do hope that the cyst relates to the problems, and that if it is removed I'll be good as new again.

Hoping it's not a 4-month wait to see the neurologist like last time, but maybe I could get seen as early as April if it's urgent enough.

s***, hope it all works out asap and you can get that thing removed! What did the Dr say about action to take following your MRI on Monday?

I honestly don't what to say to that. I hope this is something that you can recover from but of all the places to have something go wrong, that's truly terrifying. So what's next?

Kind of makes my boughts of feeling like s*** look insignificant (especially as these are more than likely my own fault given the way my life was a few years ago).

Unfortunately that's all I know at the moment bud. The Doctor couldn't say anything further, and could only refer me to a neurologist. I know from the past that there are long waiting lists for the neurologist, so hopefully I'll find out where I sit in the queue late next week.

As I do have Health Insurance these days it had completely slipped my mind that I could probably take it through the private system to get seen sooner if the wait is too long.

Yeah definitely go through your health insurance and go through a private hospital. You could be waiting years for surgery in the public realm.
In the mean time i suggest looking at eating some healthy supplements like fish oil to help with your memory. They may or may not make a difference but even if you're being pro active it will be good for your well being.

Hey Big Azza, I'm sorry to hear about what you've had to put up with, that sounds awful! :( Wishing you a swift recovery, my friend.

Best wishes,

Lewis.

Thanks bud... I don't know much about the private health system - so I've shied away from using it. I only got health insurance because my nan was lecturing me about some day when I might need an ambulance. So I guess I've kept it all this time "just in case something happens." Well - I think this is the best time to use out of all! It's interesting that a few weeks ago a friend of mine urged me to cancel it as I wasn't using it so, it was blowing my budget. For once, it's a good thing I forgot!

I did try to take multi-vitamins containing fish oil a few months ago on the advice of a friend. I took a few of them and as my sister guranteed - I forgot all about them. I think I'll start again - as I'm trying to have breakfast these days at home, I might be able to remember to take them.

And yeah, I really need to start taking care of my diet and sleep. And I think it's high time that "Big" Azza should start paying attention to his weight.... I'm sure all of these could help in some way...

And thanks very much to everyone for your sympathies. :)

Sorry to hear that Big Azza. I'd recommend consuming at least 1 glass of lime juice (no sugar) everyday....lime is scientifically proven to have properties in delaying/preventing these growths.

Oh, and don't wait. These things can be easily fixed if only you take action as soon as possible. Best of luck!

It's all over the net..just google up cancer fighting agents and out of everything which comes up, you notice lime is the commoner among most pages. Plus, my uncle is an orthopedic sergeant and very high ranking in the medical chapter of Msia...he's told me there are a few secrets the medical world (universally) does not want the general public to discover, and one of them is the lime juice story. Understandably in the business context, the medical sector relies heavily on us mortals getting sick to keep their business running. :(

Just stay positive, Azza! Think about the things (persons) you care the most! My mother fought with cancer that way. How you think is how you feel! Get well soon and ask for any advice, etc.!
