MClaren Fans: "what?"
AKR "only joking hehehehehe"

Nah, it'll probably be something more like this; :D

AKR: I don't like McLaren but I LOVE LEWIS!
bud: What? Don't you want me baby?

It'll be Kiki's only chance to lure me over to the Ferrari camp.

Lewis said he'd stick with McLaren and he better. If he went to Ferrari I'd HATE him. Very, very, very much. What I want to see from Hamilton is making it up to the team, that has done EVERYTHING for him. I want a Constructor's championship!

You would hate him? Why? Does everything in a Ferrari make you want to hate it. If you saw me drive a red Ferrari would you hate me? Surely you wont. Ferrari has been around since the dawn of the sport. They are part of the history of F1 and make such lovely road cars. Lewis Hamilton probably owns one already so I guess you might as wll start hating him now. ;-)

I bet you drive a merc.

:P

No. Don't like most of the new Mercs. I'm not saying they are not good cars, because they most certainly are. I have a Saab and have had Nissan and BMW. I love BMW and I also like Audi. Wouldn't mind either one of those next car. Or maybe a sleek hot Japanese car like one of those hot new Nissan sports cars. Would be cheap in Tokyo once I move there. Oh yeah oops back to F1. Lewis Hamilton and McLaren bashing? I'll think about going down that path once the season actually starts. For now I am staying neutral. :)

not sure if those fins behind the cockpit are legal, also another team to use the mirrors as an aero device i predict teams to contest those adaptations.

Yeah I'm not keen on those fins, but if it's a loophole in the regulations that will work and make the car fast then I'm ok with that for now. But I LOVE the new shade of blue, reminds me of the classic Rothmans livery.

It lacks sponsors in my opinion. I think like the BMW makes it look bare. Bar that is a lovely looking car.
It reminds me more of the BMW days than the Rothmans though.

Alrighty, going back to Formula 1.

*shudders at the thought of Kiki and Bud.

I think Raikkonen might retire soon, and Webber as well. So who would Ferrari sign?

Vettel? Or Senna? Or Hulkenberg? Rosberg?

I would be disappointed if Ferrari don't sign a young guy. Ferrari and McLaren have got the fastest cars. So, in order to develop young drivers with potential, talented young drivers should start driving for these teams. I say, one inexperienced, and one experienced.

Drivers are unlikely to stay at the same team for years now. Less dedication to one team (bar Hamilton who is extremely naive to basically marry himself to McLaren).

Ferrari want to hire winners, not potential winners.

How old are you hammy08?

And the Williams does look bare with few sponsors.

Williams back to classic blue. I suspect that it will look a lot better on the track.

As for those odd winglets. Considering how secretive the teams have been about their cars this year, I'm surprised that williams is displaying them so openly. But suspect someone will bring issue with them at some point. Still, there seems no reason why they shouldn't be legal. The only thing I could thing of is that they could affect the crash structure and be deemed unsafe. Unlikely though.

Ridiculous I know, but look how shinier the cars look with the slick tyres on :D

How about some actual 2009 news :D

Apparently just 4 teams will run KERS come australia. Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull and Renault.
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/index.htm (I know Allen is considered a muppet by 99%, but his little site is brilliant. He's got inside info, and is more than willing to share it)

One thing that did disappoint me, is hear from Rosberg that the drivers need to be more aggressive this year in terms of driving style. Lewis is the most aggressive driver I know :( nnooooo, thats an advantage. He can't win again. Poor Hekki is going to look worse this year if he doesn't adapt.

But anyways, on the subject of KERS I'm surprised to hear BMW aren't running KERS. Seeing how confident they've been. But my guess is Dr Mario has said, we don't run KERS unless its 100% reliable. Better finishing a race in 6th, and than finished at all. I get the feeling that Ferrari won't have the most reliable KERS system (typical Italian electrics :hehe: j/k) But clearly they must be happy enough running the system, despite the odd the compliant we've heard from them.
