I'm just wondering has anybody else bought this? I'm asking because I feel it's probably the least comprehensive season preview Autosport have produced in year's of reading the magazine. I feel a bit short-changed. Do other's think the same or not?

Yes I always get it. That bit didnt inspire and ive not read it all yet. I did like the Mark Hughes bit that looked at the technical changes and how they could pan out, but ususlly I read all of the preview straight away. Most of its written by Coulthard and states the obvious.
Did you read about the Jim Clark documentary? Sounds fantastic. Ive posted about it in F1 history.

The new version of Autosport is pretty poor, even though they claim it is more reader friendly.
And they keep putting the price up...

Yeah, I agree that the new layout is nothing special, to be honest. I also agree with Anna that the season preview really states the obvious. I would add to that, though: if it doesn't spout common knowledge, it trots out a lot of waffle: the write-ups about the teams is completely sub-standard. That poor quality and utterly meaningless pictures take up almost all of the page proves it. Also, where are the graphs etc. they used to do, showing the teams' paces relative to one another over single laps, stints etc.? I didn't even look inside the magazine before I bought it, because you expect so much better from Autosport. :thumbdown:
