Are we children bickering, or men? If you're gonna resort to insulting me, then I'll take no further part in this thread. :nono:

So in otherwords you realised your pretty much out of excuses and stupid points so your going to have a cry about some weak snipe at you by bud.

No one has insulted you. You brought this up, don't moan when it bites you in the bottom.

Some wise words from Chucky

"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science."

"For my own part I would as soon be descended from that heroic little monkey...or from that old baboon...as from a savage who delights to torture his enemies, offers up bloody sacrifices, practices infanticide without remorse, treats his wives like slaves, knows no decency, and is haunted by the grossest superstitions."

Okay, I thought the Ostrich man was a shot at me praying or something. Sorry, for being quick to judge.

The acrcheo-whatsit is a pretty col picture. But guess what? It's a bird.

I'm sure the archeowhatsit did exist. But it doesn't really prove evolution. It's got all of the formalities of a bird. But remember what I said about each animal being mad according to it's kind?

What I'm looking for is something that is against the Genesis account. Something that clearly shows that there is an animal that is in two kinds. And I have to be absolutely convinced.

But that's a really, really cool fossil! And also disgusting. It's like it was sat on by - an elephant or something.

I have to stay on this thread. I'm making it interesting! :wavey:

I only read DD's question on Hitler then. I can tell you basically. I remember how upset DD got last time when I mentioned I'm a Jehovah's Witness. You went all crazy over the blood topic. Everybody does. And since I've been out door-knocking for 10 years, and I'm only 18 now, you don't think I've copped abuse over it.

The reason why Hitler did what he did, and very briefly. Let me ask you a question:

Why didn't God kill Adam and Eve and start all over again, in the Garden of Eden? Because many angels were watching. What Satan, Adam and Eve did was question Jehovah's right to rule.

If a student interrupts in class and tell his teacher he is wrong in front of all his class mates? Should the teacher throw the student out? The students will start thinking, "Maybe the guy was right. That's what the teacher acted so rashly." What should the teacher do? Wouldn't it be to let the student prove himself?

So, the only way how Jehovah can prove himself to all of the angels watching and to all of mankind, is let them govern themselves.

What has happened since mankind have done that? Look at our current crisis's. Global Warming, enough nukes to destroy the world, crime, financial crisis, poverty in Africa.

And judging by the signs in Mathew Chapter 24, it's nearly time for God to step in. People have to see that man can't govern themselves.

first of all Evolution just doesnt occur in drastic fashion as youre suggesting you want to see, adaptation occur and over time evolve into different species. over time is talking about Millions of years. Second Archaeopteryx has teeth, has a tail and has hands. how can you a fan of genesis say its a bird? for feathers to be fossilised is extremely rare and cases of Archaeopteryx fossils without its feathers being preserved are mistaken for just another theropod dinosaur. In Lialing China there have been many discoveries of feathered dinosaurs in the last 10 years which is adding fuel to the avian evolution coming from theropod dinosaurs.
Theres also fossil evidence of 3 toed horses 2 toed horses then single toed horses or Hooves. evidence is there for anybody to see if you can look past your religious brainwashing.

hammy08,
I respect your views as an individual and some others may aswell yet I am SERIOUSLY getting the feeling you are trying to impress your Jehovah's Witness criteria/beliefs upon us and that aint cool nor will it be tolerated. !

What IS happening here is you are feeding your personal beast and you just wont leave it alone because in your mindset you are right and everyone else who is not a JW is wrong! Allow me to ask you a VERY simple question ok? Have you EVER EVER EVER tried to put aside your supposedly irrefutable belief's of creation and god and just tried to be HUMAN, and perhaps studied the concepts your religion whole heartedly disreputes?

Frankly your supposedly cogniscent outlook refutes anything realistic or proven by science. On another note I try to avoid conflicts of interest asmuch as possible although others will disagree :P and they are not wrong. What I am trying to impress upon you is I am not against you I just disagree with your opinion but that is ok right? :)

 nuf said

Aint that the truth but I had to get one last opinion in :hehe: !

What about the Dinosaurs? Who created them?

What about the neanderthal remains that have been found?

hammy08 is coming up with all the well-worn arguments religious fascists always spout. These arguments have been completely, utterly, undoubtedly, unquestionably disproved. I don't doubt that hammy08 is sincere in his believes, but he has clearly been brainwashed and his mind is compartmentalised. I really hope he realises he's wrong some day; it would be a terrible thing to have gone through life believing a lie. :( Professor Dawkins says that religion is the antithesis of science. I would go further: religion goes against common sense and academia in general. If you want to argue a case, you must have evidence (real evidence or evidence that has not been disproved, by the way). Religion has no evidence. It is an irrational superstition. Finally, one thing that really annoys me about religion, is how it intrudes on people's lives. In school, before my mind was fully-formed, I was told all about the devil and hell fire, to fear god etc., all to scare me into being a christian. Although it was not enough to convince me, burning in hell is a pretty scary thought, so I fully understand why some people are "believers", just in case. Dawkins is absolutely correct on this one: it is a form of child abuse. The lowest of low. In short, if hammy08 feels better with an imaginary friend and living a lie, go right ahead, but stop trying to brainwash the rest of us with it. :censored:

It is not wrong to have your own views.

I am using evidence to support why I believe what I believe. You need a "creationist" on this thread. I have many a time pondered on whether what I believe is true, and I came to this conclusion:

Even if people tried to prove the Jehovah's Witnesses wrong, I'd still enjoy life. I'd have morals instilled in me. Following what the Bible says has not hindered me in life. I have some very down-to-earth friends, I see more in life than slaving away for money. I look at the other kids my age, with their priorities in life being umpalumpa, drugs and alcohol. And then look at mine. These kids are still bludging off their parents. But by having a simple outlook in life, with different priorities, I've been able to support myself on my own for 2 years. I'm respected in the community by non-believers. My grandmother opposes my faith, but yet she calls me her favourite grandson, because I treat her how I wish to be treated.

I catch the train with zombies every day. All these people going to slave for work in the city. They only have one outlook on life. They're only in it for the money. But money will always have it's limit - it's end. You can slave for money all your life, but after you die you cant use it. What a waste of your life. But by having good friendships with people, being kind to people despite many grave injustices I have faced, that will help me come to appreciate a full life, and I'd be satisfied.
