Why do Ferrari support the FIA's engine freeze rule for 2008-2010 unlike most other teams? What's in it for them apart from being buddy-buddy with MM and the FIA? Are they actually trying to SAVE development money (Ferrari/FIAT has long been struggling financially)? Or are they so convinced of having an edge in the engine department for 2008 and want to preserve it? Or just the opposite: freezing the engine would divert development mainly to aero, etc., - maybe Ferrari believe they have an advantage there?

most likely the fact they make solid all round engines would be behind their favouritism to the engine rule. thems the rules says Todt haha when it suits him
