My immediate reaction is: Why on earth would he want to go to Ferrari!

Nelson Piquet was honest enough when asked the question on Italian telly. This is how it went.

Italian commentator to Nelson: Congratulations, you have just won another World Championship. You have won in different cars, you have won at different circuits, you have one bit of business left unfinished, you have not raced for Ferrari. Every driver's ultimate aspiration is to race for Ferrari. Wouldn't you like to cap your career at Ferrari?

Nelson Piquet. NO !!!!!!!!

Italian commentator: But it is every driver's dream! Why do you not wish to drive for Ferrari?

Nelson Piquet: Because at Ferrari, if you win the car is brilliant, and if you loose you are a useless driver. It is never the fault of the car.

Italian commentator, lost for words walks off mumbling something that sounds like "sacrelgious Brazilian git!":roll::roll:

Hamilton's not leaving McLaren anytime soon. Yeah, he got pissed off at Monaco but every driver gets pissed off with his team every now and again.

The press go to a lot more trouble making up stories than reporting real stories these days. All this is just fallout from after the Big Ron issue.

journo's go to uni so they can make up stories! theyre a joke  my sister is at uni studying journolism i feel sorry for her 8)

They don't even write their own stories! We have to learn how to write press releases for them so they can copy it!

Much as I really do admire Lewis Hamilton and his recent performances on track, I'm a bit surprised at his sulking after the Monaco GP. A bit like a spoilt brat I'm afraid.

Lewis finished his 5th GP last Sunday. He has been in FI for how long?

He needs to be a bit patient. His time will come, but for the time being Nando is the more complete driver and it is right that Mc Laren use every trick in the book to help him win his 3rd World Championship in a row.

I think there is a difference between sulking and dissapointment. Remmember he was 5 laps heavier and with no bauble at the hairpin and webber in front of him he would have been on pole! :D Nando is the better driver no question but I think Lewis was thinking how if he had made no mistakes he would have had his 1rst win. This was only compounded by the team ensuring the guy in front stayed there. No biggie and hardly suggests he is a spoiled brat. Nando on the other hand,... But hey I love them both!

I suppose qualifying decided it all.

It was real hard luck for Lewis. I suppose that had he started on pole it would have all gone in his favour, but like I said, His time will come, and it won't be years, but months, or possibly weeks.

I wonder how Nando would have behaved in a reverse role situation.

Unfortunately we will never know.

I think Lewis was ticked off for Ron telling him to not race Fernando, but even with the 1-2 Ron still looked more miserable than Schumi did after ramming into Coulthard at Spa 98.
