Anywhere to see winter testing?

Postby Marco »

Does anyone know the winter testing dates? I wanna go along to hear the V8s. I hope the speed/noise hasn't been damaged too much.

No idea, I used to go to the Silverstone testing but that was back in 2001. The way I found out about that was through an unofficial site which no longer exists.

I'm also worried about the new engines, I just wonder how badly the lap times will be affected. Will it make that much difference?!

Geoff Willis from Honda says that the new V8 engine is actually louder than the old V10, even though it's a smaller engine...
