Positive changes I've made is losing weight.

Last year at this time I was about 245 - 250 lbs, and now I am 210 lbs, and feel great.

Just got approved for a student loan for the local community college's police academy but sadly class does not start until Feb '09. My loan will pay for school, all expense's and bill's and I dont have to start repaying until I finish school and start working !! When I graduate I will be state certified to become a police officer immediately instead of having to wait 2yr's being a jailer, woohoo!!!

Dont start asking for 'cavity search's' just yet I'll let ya know when I'm certifiably certified!!

Thanks Chris as it's a huge weight off my shoulders. This academy is just like one at a police agency as we are issued complete uniforms, firearms etc etc and actual police officer's run the academy and teach the courses.
It sure is gonna be a long 3 months although that is good in a way as it may take that long for my mom to fully recuperate.

Thanks and yes they issue a gun to the student's for the course only. I already have a gun but I will not have to conceal it any more.

Big bummer but not a deal breaker as I finally got around to taking my assessment test for the police academy. I passed all the testing requirement's except one and it was ONLY BY ONE POINT!! I can take it over as many times as I want so no biggy really but man so close yet so far . So I'll go back next week and test again looking for the last point that complete's my requirement's for for the academy.

Wish me luck ok even if you dont like me as I need all the help I can get .
