if that were McLaren im sure they would have been penalised by now :hehe:

Nope. If so, then how come they werent penalized in Germany?

not the same really was it?

Well, yes and no, but that's not the point. bud was only being sarcastic.

Yeah, what i'm trying to say is Lewis was actually faster whereas kimi slowed down.

it was a little more obvious.

Raikkonen wanted to maintain his pride, and not only that, Massa was so bloody slow there was no other way he was getting past!

its part of formula one. i dont understand the rule. either way the car they want to get past is going to. before the rule, they could just wave them on but now the teams have to find a way to almost hide it. i think they should just take the rule out, teams are going to do it anyway and we all know its going to happen. plus its not THAT bad

I agree, Lewis was so much faster than Heiki that day so it was only a matter of time before he passed him, and Heiki just lifted slightly through the corner and not put up a fight incase of an incident, unlike today Massa was a lot slower than Kimi, so there was no chance of a pass without Kimi's help.

ot: what was Fisi playing at today, crazy.

For some reason he just felt like pissing off the Ferrari's mainly

I honestly wanted him to get his arse kicked for that. As much as I wanted Lewis to beat the Ferraris today, what Fisichella did was just ridiculous. I'm pretty sure I remember him complaining about backmarkers that got in his way when he was at Renault...

even thought it didn't bother me, it was wrong.

perhaps he's just had enough of being lapped?

Every driver has to go through it. I think it's far more humiliating when you've just come off the back of a world championship (see Damon hill in '97, Jacques Villeneuve in '98, Schumacher (I think) in '05) but yeah, I guess that could be it.

Agree.

Team orders still go on, just behind the scene.
#74360
It's a BS rule that was put in place so the teams and drivers will try their best to make it not look obvious, it should be called the Schumacher/Barichello rule. Does anyone know if it has ever been enforced?

I think they were the same. It was totally obvious that Heikki ran a wider line to let Lewis through, even so just because Raikkonen slowed down doesnt necessarily mean he was ordered to do so. He probably did it just to help Massa with the title, now I'm not saying thats why he did it but thats a possibility.
