This has been on the cards for a while now. He's the driver of the weekend for me. Remember this race folks, not just because it was exciting, but because it's the first race victory of a guy who has the potential to be a legend.

If there was a performance worthy of being compared with Senna today, it was Vettel. Reminds me of everytime I watch the highlights of Senna's win at Estoril in 1985. Like Senna that day Vettel had a good car, not a Championship contending car but, he was the difference like Senna was that day.

I don't like using Senna comparisons very much. For me, he is and will always be the greatest. Today, from two or three drivers, was the closest thing I've seen to Senna's driving, however.

Winning in a former Minardi on a day when none of the top drivers had any real probelms. That is the drive of a legend.
Personally, I see him closer to Schuy then Senna, in terms of driving style.

I think his victory today was the kinda of thing you sit and think "woah, imagine if that somehow happened" Vettel proved a lot today. I don't think anyones won in such a dramatic style before. I'll backing him for WDC from 2009 onwards for sure.
Red Bull could give him a good enough car if they switch engine suppliers.

Why not? As far as I can tell the press and all McLaren fans already consider LH a legend and it's only his 2nd season...

why not ? Hammy himself is always telling us he is a legend.
Remember a few races back when he was starting from midfield.
He said. Anyone can win from the front, BUT only LEDGENS win from the back

Hammy would be hating all this Vettel hype now. He is no longer the golden boy.............. for a little while anyway.
