Sad image of Grosjean/Haas. With Silverstone having been re-surfaced twice in two years, teams were at wonder for tire grip. This should have been the great equalizer for Haas to help them with their tire challenges. Sadly, not so. Obviously, not an expert here, but it seems there is something basically wrong with the team suspension set up that the same tires everyone else is using will not grip for them. Grosjean appears to have something against front wings. He sure is shredding a lot of them. Perhaps Haas needs to look at the ride height or the wing load is too much depressing the suspension? Dunno. Hope they get it figured out. US needs a presence in F1. Would hate to see Haas give it up.

Hamilton wins as expected.
It was an unlucky day for Verstappen. "Driver of the day" Vettel secured 3rd place for Ferrari with a "clever" act when he got passed and lost the 3rd place to Red Bull.

Well, they didn't finish last. That in itself is great leaps and bounds forward by Team Williams. And they didn't go a lap down until almost the end of the race. Again, kudos for an improving performance; their best individually and as a team this year. And at home in front of the boss. Can't ask for much more than that.

Haas, on the other hand... Shucks, if they didn't have bad luck, they wouldn't have any at all. GRO and MAG have been counseled on racing incidents involving them as team mates before. Wouldn't want to be in either of their driving shoes having to go before the boss, again, on a repeat offense. It appears the two of them don't play well together.

Mid and back-pack races are all stacking up well this year. Alfa, McLaren and Renault all making good accounts of themselves. Racing Point appears ready to challenge Williams for the last two spots in ranking. Makes for an interesting 'Best of the Rest' series.

But, that said, I like 'em all and think they are giving the fans what they are paying for and looking for in a premier racing series.

Cheers.
