Vote for the most exciting and best performer of the race from the list provided!

Please feel free to explain your choice.

I have voted for Max Verstappen as well. He was the only bright light in a travesty of a race.

I'm sorry, it was a great drive by Verstappen (albeit overhyped by many people) but I cannot give my vote to a driver who was very lucky not to crash out after making the rookie mistake of touching a white line. Hamilton drove well but he had the massive advantage of having a clear track in front of him. Pérez achieved a good result of 4th (nearly 3rd) and I don't remember him making any errors so my vote goes to him.

A number of former world champions also made the same "rookie" mistake as Vestappen; I think Vestappen did well to control the spin as much as he did; if you watch, he never locked up and watch his front wheels as he steered away from disaster. However, you're right; Perez had a very solid drive and did go unnoticed because of Max's overtaking excellence.

But he likely has better rain tires so it isn't fair to the poor F1 drivers.

Even Lauda and Toto Wolff are gaga over Verstappen's display:

"Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has labelled Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix the "Max Verstappen show" after the Red Bull driver's charge through the field in the closing stages.

"Max was very impressive," Wolff commented after the race.
"It was the Verstappen show out there – really unbelievable driving and great entertainment."

Mercedes Non-Executive Chairman Niki Lauda also lauded Verstappen.

"It was incredible to watch," Lauda explained to Sky Sports.
"Lewis and Nico did the perfect job that they could do, while Verstappen was outstanding.
"It was unbelievable, the way that he passed [his rivals in the final stint was] impressive. I knew the guy was good, but he proved again to everybody what he can do.""

They are just salivating at the thought of having a talent on their team like Verstappen. His Brazil drive has been compared to Schumacher/Senna levels. However it is unlikely that Horner is going to be in a mood to answer their calls!

The pinnacle of motorsport and the safety car has better tires than the multi-million dollar F1 cars, you have to chuckle.

Better downforce, too, eh? :hehe:
