Re: Current Issues with Forum behaviour?
I think its now clear that most problems stem from the same minority of yardsticks on here. After the promising first few pages of this thread where everyone agreed to ignore, its clear that the yardsticks continued with the same meaningless inane and lame attempted putdowns for every post, most of which went above their heads anyway.
After a lot commendable restraint from others waiting for the members who previously complained about both groups to point this out never came, then the yardsticks got the response they were craving
And in one particular instance is so addicted to it he had to come back in disguise for more and more ridiculirisation
But funnily, its not a small minority to blame, no its the majority who all say and react the same way to the lame vindictive useless attempt at raining on the winners parade

The tension between some is down to stubbornness and neither side knowing when to just let something pass or hold their tongue.
As for another that person is just trying to cause problems with absurd probably false opinions.

I think reporting to the moderators is the best course, and just getting back on topic rather than getting stuck on a closed argument loop. More people getting involved just makes the argument bigger.
It's not aggression, they can't change your views or stop you posting or cause harm to you.

Re: Current Issues with Forum behaviour?
Moderators can call out that person for breaking forum guidelines but it's not done because... Well I don't know why but there's probably a good, or not so good reason. It's clear there's little room to tread on with all the dog chit about.
Just to clarify.
Good reason, no one wants to be mean to the village idiot.
Bad reason, there are ulterior motives about.
It's our very own blue black or white gold dilemma.

Re: Current Issues with Forum behaviour?
It's clear that the two sides can not find common ground, so I'm going to lock this thread before it deteriorates and I ban everyone!
WB, you know full well that if we strictly followed the guidelines, everyone would be banned, which at this point may not be a bad thing, start afresh!
