Lewis apparently negotiating a £52mill Merc deal - thats Sterling, not Euros or Australian dollars

This would make him the highest paid sportsman in ze world, right next to Mayweather, its been confirmed that he is the only global star in F1

[What's Burning?]

It's just a million a week overboost, don't let him pull that highest paid sportsman crap, he's only getting one million pounds sterling a week for three years!

[LRW]

Isnt that a 3 year deal though?

[What's Burning?]

No the contract is written to state 156 weeks. it's just another way of stifling contractual competition by Mercedes.

[LRW]

Cheers. Glad I asked.

Interestingly that £1 mill is 1,4 million Euros, about the same amount Ricciardo is on for a whole year

Just to show how much is down to the cheat gadgets on the Red Bulls they only need to pay peanuts to monkeys to drive the car

Obviously Merc recognise what sane people can see - a global star who developed their car from a tyre munching MS Sunday run around to the monster that is the Kracken
