Just make sure you carry out all the appropriate risk assessments, lay down some traffic cones and put up some signs first and you'll be fine. Oh and wear a hi-viz jacket (I have a couple kicking about between my flat and my locker ranging in condition from near black to brand new so take your pick). This is Britain after all and you'll more than likely get in bother with the HSE than the rozzers.
