Wouldn't be a good idea. It would end Super Aguri instantly, and other teams with lower budgets, such as Williams, would end up struggling to cope. Besides, two cars per team has now become the norm. And it would put the grid over the FIA's current imposed car limit.

In the 70's and 80's it was possible to use up to 3 cars if desired. It's how Nigel Mansell got his debut too.

The only way we're going to get around the problem of F1 costing too much would be if Bernie was more concerned about what his wallet is doing to the sport and not what's going in it. And we know that's not likely to happen.

To run 4 cars wouldn't just double the costs since there would be a lot of synergies. Plus not everybody would HAVE to run 4 cars. Maybe it should say UP to 4 cars, i.e., 3 cars could also be an option.
At any rate, it would be quite crammed in the pits

If that was an option then they would have to alter the rules regarding the WCC. Each team should have to run 2 cars but teams with 3 or 4 cars could only have 2 cars results counting towards the WCC which would mean a shake up in the points allocation if a 4 car team got all 4 cars in the top 4

4 cars would be too expensive to run pricing out the smaller teams in F1. If Ferrari field 4 cars then we would have 1 team leader and the rest of them would be like B42 bombers ready to run off the track any Mclaren that dared challenge for the lead. For that reason i think we should stick with 2

4 cars would be the worst rule change ever, im team orientated 90%,

and the most likely result would be a huge gap in constructor points between teams, and think of all the guaranteed wins, formation starts where if you had four in a row the first 2 could get away in formation with the back 2 holding the others back,

all one constructor podiums,

williams, renault, and the non corporation backed teams would be gone,

completely dominated years beyond what happens now would be more frequent,

i cant see ANY appeal, thatd be it for me
