- 07 Sep 14, 10:15#416009There is one glaring difference, in Kimi's defence!
The F14-T isn't a car that can compete, this year.
Not even Alonso has gotten on the top step and if
he can't do it, I doubt anyone could.
Even more glaring than the glaring difference in his defence is this:
Alonso:
121
Raikkonen:
39
This must be some sort of new record for a WDC being thrashed by a teammate?
In one word....Kimi's performance this year has been: Embarrassment
Personally I feel let down, since I wanted to watch Alonso stress out for the first time since 2007. Even the current joke on the grid called Massa was more effective than the 'Iceman cometh'.
I think Massa would have got more than 39 points in the Ferrari this season. That said I dont think anyone would beat Alonso in the same car
Check out F1.com stats for 2007. A rookie (that Alonso still says is the best driver on the grid) beat Alonso to second in the same car
Oh...but that doesn't count. Since Big Bad Wolf Dennis hired Alonso, paid him a mega salary to coach the newbie, and then favoured the newbie after Alonso threw McLaren under the bus.
Btw, even before everything hit the fan.....Lewis was leading Alonso in the standings quite comfortably. But again....that doesn't count since McLaren favoured the newbie Brit still learning the ropes.

Breaking News:Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol(Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)
