Safety car, what safety car?

I think there was one but it came out at the wrong time.

See, Roth, none of the hamilton fans can even acknowledge that a safety car happened, let alone gifted hamilton a podium spot.

Which position was Hamilton in when the SC went in?

Podium spot?

Calling it a 'gift' then is kinda dumb don't you think.

I understand he was peeved, but when asked about it on the podium interview...

MB - One of your finest ever drives?
LH - I don't think so.

LOL are you serious....so if he doesn't think this drive is one of the best he's done, it means its crap?

Maybe the guy has quite a few drives which were outstanding, and the one in Hungary doesn't measure up to those in his head....and how does this translate to him thinking it wasn't a great comeback?

The moment he says something like "yeah it was a great comeback" we'll have the haters talking about how arrogant he is and how he should be thankful to have a car rebuilt in 1 day and how he "cheated his teammate of 3rd place".

You're nuts, dude.

I think Lewis was 13th when safety car came out & same position when it went in....

Its nice to see a pack have some fun with some light hearted gentle ribbing of Hamiltons fans and the safety car. Apart from geet who receives as well as he gives, lets see how long before we get the complaints about 'gentle ribbing' from Hamilton fans. Whats that? They go too far? They dont stop after the mandatory universally accepted period for gentle ribbing?

Ang makes a valid point about Lewis' gaining no track positions under the safety car, its already a given that safety cars bunch up the field, yet the overtakes still have to be made to gain track position, therefore its clear that had the places been reversed and both drivers had applied the same racecraft, then Lewis would have started on pole, dropped 4 places on the SC and be back to the lead a few laps after the SC went in, and Nico would have started in the pits gained no places under the SC and dropped places straight afterwards finishing 16th

Yet the pack see fit to ridicule Angs simple factual statement of positions gained under the safety car. Fair enough, lets try and remember this the next time we start feeling bullied or start moaning that the flavour of ridicule is not to our liking or is too serious for us
