Look at the other side of that picture... the last year they made a car it theoretically the most refined that model ever was!

Well the Beemer has been sold today, I am going back to my ricer roots and looking at a Jap car tomorrow.

BooHissBoo. Might as well declare out loud that you never get fully erect.

I spent more in the last year on the Beemer about 2000 times what I spent on the Landy (even thought you guys think of them as lemons)
In fact, I have had 3 Honda Civics and apart from the odd wheel bearing never had a problem with any of them. I had a brake disc explode on my Integra (was a scary moment) and The Evo.... well OK the Evo was a money pit, but a more fun money pit than the BMW.

I've had a car from most of the North American car manufacturers,
and I have to agree, my Honda Fit has been the best of them all!

(i.e., Dodge Dart, Mercury Topaz, Pontiac Sunfire, Chrysler Vogageur,
and for good measure a Toyota Corolla)

I did say North American, didn't I? :P
(p.s. in all fairness to you, I've owned/driven a vehicle since 1980,
long before other manufacturers joined forces with N.A. companies...)

the 5 Series is a big car and the consumables of it (tires etc) are silly prices in the UK. Plus in the UK we get ripped of on fuel prices it is over 9USD for a Gallon US of fuel
