Or the trial package for Monza at least. Force India will do well as they always produce a slippery car

:hehe:

If its so slippery why do they still need to be Force India, maybe 'gentle India' would be better

Interesting info coming out of Maggies side of the McLaren garage. Earlier in the season Button was quick to point out the team were relying too much on his feedback as Mag was too inexperienced. Sounds like some kind of major turnaround has happened within the team since then

Magnussen admitted that the feedback he gives the McLaren engineers differs from that of Button

"We are different and we feel different things from the car. This is good because you get different ideas," Magnussen told Autosport.

"I try not to hold back and be shy, I try to open my mouth. As young kid coming into Formula 1 you need to be brave enough to do that, whether it's right or wrong I'll let the team figure out."

"They use my feedback, even though I'm so inexperienced, and that gives me confidence."

There are many who believe a driver with 'specific' requirements from a car needs a teammate with more rounded development skills like Barichello. I am glad Mag is finally settled enough to take over a lot of the feedback function for the engineers. This will be crucial for next year

LOL

Yet even more proof of who's really helping to destroy the team single handed.

People forget that these "Rookie" drivers have years of experience in racing, so is it really a surprise when they can produce feedback on how the car feels. Hell even I could do that, although mine would probably be "HOLY CRAP THAT'S FAST I THINK MY NECK CAME OFF!"

Don't think a wipe would be enough after dropping a pebble

Eric is starting to shape the team

http://www.planetf1.com/driver/18227/9353381/Boullier-McLaren-need-fresh-approach

Highlighting where it has gone wrong for McLaren in recent times, Boullier says while the team has the ability to recover, these days the sport's regulations don't permit the time on the track and in the wind tunnel that is needed to do so.

"McLaren has been and is still a big machine capable of recovering. The only difference is that the outside world has changed.

"We have no more testing, more and more restrictions in the wind tunnel, and more and more restrictions everywhere.

This almost without doubt is the sure sign that Button won't be resigned

I believe McLaren is very aware of what Williams went through, they won't want to follow those footsteps. I think Eric B is a good fit especially in the post MW world.
