News coming that Merc also have a new bargeboard for this event, I found this. Also new front wing endplate too.

To do with better cornering I believe, and something to do with being able to get more air underneath a shorter nose.

Has the bulge too which will help overall downforce along with higher front downforce generated by the wing alone.
