Yes, Mercedes deserves to be where they are, at the moment; but, anyone who writes off Ferrari, after only two races should google reviews of the last few years. We may not have had the best car on the grid; but, we didn't finish last in the standings. In fact, we've been consistent in giving Vettel and Red Bull a run for their money.
As for ""some"" Mercedes fans, let's face it, their allegiance is with Hamilton and no matter where he goes, they will follow. And, there is nothing wrong with that. However, it's pretty sad to see the crowing from the rooftops, after two races and the assertion that this will be a dream season. It's also ironic that the same people who were looking for illegal reasons for Red Bull's dominance, this last few years, are the same people who laud all the hard work, investment and talent that Mercedes has. You'd think that there was only "one" team on the grid who worked hard, who planned hard, who invested hard. Seriously?

...Mercedes deserves to be the clear current leader - they took their advantage and made the most of it.
However, many Mercedes fans in general, and the Mercedes fans here have, two races into the season, completely written off Ferrari and already crowned themselves with the 2014 WDC and WCC. A little premature IMO...
