Hamilton and Mercedes are to be commended on their dominance this weekend; but, I'm confused that Rosberg
didn't seem to have the same pace as Hamilton did. I realize that Mercedes don't have team orders; but, it sure
did seem that he was doing one of two things!! Either he was purposefully holding Vettel at bay OR Rosberg's set
up was different/he was driving a different car.

At one point they told Nico to go faster since Vettel was gaining...

So there is a third option that perhaps you should consider. Lewis Hamilton is a world champion in a head and shoulders car. Nothing against Rosberg but he's probably where Webber was on a good weekend, there to pick the ball up should the lead driver have an issue. IMO he's going to be the only challenger to Lewis Hamilton this year.

That option is the obvious one!! :wavey:
But, as we all know, the obvious isn't always palatable/acceptable to dissenting fans of others drivers/teams. :(

Without meaning to be the fly in the ointment, today I realized just how easy it is to fall into that "conspiracy trap"!
That being said, I will heartily apologize for having mentioned it at all!!

I forgot to mention, a commendable drive by the Hulk. The guy is the best driver on the grid that doesn't have a WDC attached to his name.

 So very happy I chose both him and Magnussen  for my fantasy team!!
Along with Alonso  and Kimi  , I'm expecting to be breathing down your neck, soon!! :wavey:

BRING IT! I expect to have one of my drivers win EVERY RACE THIS YEAR. :whip:

Surely it's not rocket science, if a teammate beats the other in quali by 0.4 secs, then it means he is faster. If the full race is 56 laps and the teammate finishes 18 seconds ahead then surely there is a conspiracy as we all know arithmetic is not logical

...I also feel sorry for Ricciardo...He has now been plagued by Red Bull

And, besides the 10 second penalty, during the race, he has a grid penalty in Bahrain, to boot??
Well, that makes it three times "unlucky"... hopefully, that's it for him, this season!!

It's like webber's bad luck all over again.

And for massa. "bottas is faster than you"

Glad you noticed.
It is what it is. Massa is a nice guy; but, I don't think he'll ever be close to being WDC!!
There are just too many more talented drivers on the grid. Personally, I wouldn't want
to be a Barrichello and drive until I'm shown the door. I'd open it on my own, thanks!!

When it came up. I sat there going. OH MY GOD. "HE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT"

If they just said he has fresher tyres he probably would have moved, but that message made him stay in front and lost williams points

We can only hope but I can bet that before the half-way point, we'll get a dozen more incidents for Ricciardo :(

I was really looking forward to todays race, and although not the greatest on track action, plenty of talking points!
Firstly, congratulations to Lewis for the win, and he should be commended for recognising the MH370 disaster, well done Sir!

I think the bitterest pill to swallow was "Valteri is faster than you". Poor Massa, that's awful choice of words, and I was proud of him for sticking to his guns on that one. I was surprised to see Williams playing the team orders card so soon in the season, and with so few points on the table.

Ricciardo, oh I feel so sorry for this fella! Can he catch a break!? Put an Aussie in the sister Red Bull to Seb and it seems to spell bad luck. He is a brilliant driver, excellent attitude and a delight to watch. I hope we see him on the podium soon. Sadly, next weekend may not be an option given the penalty. A harsh rule, but I can see the logic behind it. I was so pleased to see him really take it to Seb in the early stages.

Driver of the day had to be The Hulk. The best pound for pound driver on the grid IMHO. I think he is a cracking racer, and given the right chance in the right car could for sure be a future WDC.

Felt sorry for K Mag, this guy is a true talent, and is going to be exciting to watch for sure!
I'm surprised to see Kimi struggling quite so much, maybe its the car, maybe its him adjusting to it, but lets be honest, its better than if he was still at Lotus. The turnaround in fortunes at that team is remarkable!

Special shout out to Chilton, kept his 100% Grand Prix finishes going. He may be finishing far back, but that's all that car is able to do, and he is certainly a consistent and measured driver.
