so what do people think

im gonna hope that renault really can deliver this package, but im doubtful, they usually start well and loose ground as the season goes on
im hoping they can be battling with toyota

i expect BMW to seriously be challenging mclaren on raw pace but ferrari to be faster than both

I'm hoping both Jenson and Rubens to make it into the top ten in qualifying. I'm also hoping BMW get closer to Ferrari and that Williams leap past Toyota.

And they will, apparently the reason why the Williams wasn't so good in qualifying and the race at Bahrain was because of the gear ratios and the wind problem that Berger was talking about before the race. Toyota's gear ratio problem wasn't as bad hence why Jarno was quicker. I think the Williams FW30 can match the pace of BMW, Rosberg was pretty comfy with the BMW's in Australia and only got jumped in the pits by Heidfeld being released quicker. I hope Renault and Honda can jump ahead of Toy-slow-ta.

Most of the teams will bring new developments to Barcelona, thus a lot of cancelling out will happen but i would expect Renault, Mclaren and Honda to make ground if anyone does.

I have this feeling BMW may fade as the season goes on, as they don't have the experience of spending entire seasons at the front like Ferrari and McLaren do. I beg them to prove me wrong though, for interest's sake!

I really hope Williams make some advances as Nico deserves a good car. I don't think Renault will have any major improvement in speed. I want to see the progress of Red Bull. Adrian hasn't had the impact that many thought he would.

With the new aero package for Barcelona, this will be a test to FA's famous claim that he brings six tenths to a team. Basically, I doubt it because I never remember any team benefiting significantly from their upgrades mid-season. Everyone else is also introducing something, so any gain will be mostly canceled out. But nevertheless...GO ALONSO.

Again, FA clamed he brought 6/10 to Mclaren. He never said he brings them to any team.

So what you are saying is that he might bring more than 6 tenths to Renault?

so far Alonso hasn't brought any tenths to Renault.

Really? So you don't see a performance difference between Renault this year and last year? He hasn't brought anything to Renault eh? Come on man, I'll admit the guy can be a bit of a whiner but not nearly as much so as Hamilton and FA is clearly the better driver. Hamilton might grow into a bigger pair of shoes with some proper attitude coaching but he's not there yet. Renaults performance already this year is leaps ahead of where they were last year....FA did that. Now, if they could just get him to keep his mouth shut.

He was right in leaving McLaren, they are a british team who just love their sniveling young puppy but FA really needs to leave the explanations of it to someone better suited for public speaking.

I suspect that Honda will turn up with the biggest gain, wether it gets them to the front I really doubt but Honda are are team that in the past have made giagantic leaps over a year, I'd like them to beat Toyota at least, Toyota seem curiously souless to me, maybe I just don't like Jarno...............
