...What you do is when someone says something factual but negative about your team is to jump in with ill formed counter arguments that are easily countered. You then change the argument to become a general defence of the team then end up trying to discredit the right of the original poster to have a negative opinion. Then you apologise for getting some facts wrong, then finally you admit you are a biased and loyal team supporter who is obliged to defend them all the time
Then when you are really on form you accuse others of being biased towards a particular team or driver. Then for good measure tell us it's not all black and white

It is endearing in parts though

You think you have me all figured out, eh?

This is a wonderful tribute to John Button by Saskia Masrers44 , a huge and very talented Lewis fan. I hope Jenson gets to see this!

“Martin’s is a really good leader and he’s a proper human being as well.”
“He’s a guy that you can trust, you can believe in. I feel that everyone at the factory, all the people I speak to when I’m there feel exactly the same.
“It’s so difficult for a Team Principal when a team that normally wins grands prix suddenly isn’t winning grands prix, but I think he is the best leader to bring us through this difficult time.”

Jenson Button has jumped to the defence of McLaren and their under-pressure team principal, Martin Whitmarsh, after their failure to win a single podium place this season for the first time since 1980.

Button said his result at Interlagos had "put a smile on everyone's face" and added: "The management is good here. They've had a tough time of it this year and everybody is quoting figures. It's always going to be the case when you have a difficult year. You're going to look for someone to blame but I think they've come through it very well and I think they're strong and going to do a good job next year."

Speaking to Autosport, Button revealed that he believes the arrival of Boullier will provide McLaren with some fresh momentum, after falling behind the F1 pace-setters recently.

"I think it's good to have fresh ideas, and I think he [Boullier] does add to the team," Button told Autosport.

Course Button's going to support Martin, he's the reason button is there......still there........leading the team and getting a huge salary.

Yet, he now thinks it was a good idea for Ron to come back, to reject useless, and to bring in the fresh ideas of Eric Boiler :hehe:

The only way to do that with Ron is on track results, not sure the media soundbites and steakdinners and kises on the cheeks are gonna save Jense if he starts moaning about no grip

Or it's all PR crap.

That's all Formula 1 interviews are not 98% of the time. And that 2% is Kimi not saying anything.

Nope. But I guess he feels he has to play his hand anyway..... You never know, it's served him well in the past.

Ron gave Coulthard a public bashing and told everyone he had brain fade when he stalled on the grid once, and that wasnt even poor Couthards fault in the end

Imagine what hes gonna do to button when he qualifies in 15th and says he is bewildered because his balace suddenly went missing. i do not think he will be saying 'but lets talk about jenson' more like de-employerising him

Oh man I remember that!! Man was I mad after those premature comments! :hehe:

Let's hope RD still possesses that fire in his belly, JB deserves some roughing up after all the hugging and kissings he's been receiving whenever he fails to find 'grip out there'.
