Number 25, is this really the first Verne driver post?

I am sure we had one before. He has very few posts on him if you do a search. Suprisingly few

I like Jean Eric Verne. Sultry looks, lovely accent
and he seems a nice guy too. I was sad when he was overlooked for red Bull, didn't seem fair that he wasn't given a chance....and it did upset him. But I bet he's laughing a little now
Anyway, he's now pretty philosophical about it. Here's an interview with him. What a sweety!!! I might take him under my wing............after Lewis and Nico of course.

To be fair to Redbull though, out of the two Ricciardo showed more promise and he seemed hungrier. Not to mention RB's reputation in Australia (with all their sporting gimmicks) was taking a massive hit and welcoming another young Aussie would go miles in dousing the flames in their reputation.

Breaking News:Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol(Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)

I think it was closer than vergne's given credit for.

Congratulations on a fantastic drive by JEV, absolutely destroying his ruble paying teammate!
