When Button joined the team, Lewis had to lose the engineer he'd got used to working with ...' To make it fair for Jenson' :vomit: Pathetic!
I wonder if Jenson will have to give up his engineer, ' to make it fair for Kevin' ? I suspect not.

Afterall that happened with Sergio, its going to be very interesting to see how the team manage Mag next year. Considering that they have stated that he is the future and has Lewis potential, and have given button a 1 year deal whilst publically chasing Alonso, it is hard to see how this will pan out for Whitmarsh/Button if the car is again not a title challenger.

Also, now we know there is a battle between Whitmarsh and Ron, it becomes clearer why Alonso was humiliatingly and half heartedly chased by Whitmarsh recently. This is obviously a way of offering the owners something Ron cant and wont - Alonso back on board.

As it has been said that whitmarsh was forced to give Mag the seat by 'others' in the organisation I can see Whitmarsh and Button becoming isolated and then trying not to get hit by the door on the way out.

Should be one of the 2 most entertaining team dramas along with Alonso/Kimi next year :hooli-popcorn:

Magnussen was just in the right place at the right time, to facilitate another shot at Ferrari and their drivers!! :D

All this drama, it's had a negative impact on McLaren, but we need to stop jumping to conclusions with ferrari and McLaren. I don't see why everyone seems to think it's gonna go to hell with Ferrari.

Well looking back through history (let's ignore the last 4 years) anyone would have to say that Ferrari, with its massive budgets, extra assistance, vetos, extra cash and preferred status, have been matched by the more efficient garagista and Marlboro McLaren is as much F1 fabric as Ferrari.
Merc have now high jacked that space, but going forward it would be good for Ferrari to pull their fingers out, forget about the past and go against the nostalgia grain like in the Todt/Brawn/MS era and start winning on track without constant whinging

Which is a feeling I'm starting to get from Williams, they have been lamenting on the past the last few years but now are really pushing for '14; I get less of a feeling of that from Ferrari bar hiring Kimi.

I'm afraid to ask where they're pulling their fingers out of.

McLaren and Force India not going to the 2014 tyre test afterall. Now I understand FI are cash strapped, but how can McLaren possibly even consider starting off with a potential disadvantage to other teams? especially after last winter when a big part for the 2013 problms came from the tyres not worki with the car like it did in the sim

Please please please tell me this is not another bright idea, like not sending race drivers to mid season testing a couple years ago. Surely it cannot just be about Logistics or money a team like McLaren dont turn around and say we missed the boat or we werent quick enough or we cant get there in time

What is going on with that mickey mouse lame :duckie: whitmarsh :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

It is strange how the other 2 uk based teams have not commented. Maybe there is a time issue?!

How much would fedex charge to post a car over?

Funny how a tire test is no big deal now but was a blatant circumvention of the rules mid season.
