I have now watched my last F1 race, I do not see the point of watching a race to see who comes second. I also think Alonso is a better driver than Vettle as he has gained points with a car not as fast as Vettles and won races. It is getting boring watching the same driver on pole and then winning. There needs to be a more open championship and more competition. Also cannot watch all the races as half is on sky and when they show the highlights on BBC the winner has already been announced and I am not paying for sky sports just to watch F1.

Join the club, no one (Even Vettel fans to some degree) don't like to see the same guy constantly winning, but it should more be about the racing to the finish rather than who is ahead that the fans should enjoy (Korea provided some incredible racing).

As for the BBC/Sky thing, yes it pisses me off too, having to not go on Twitter/Facebook/News for the whole weekend just makes me angry but we can all blame Murdoch and his money grabbing empire for that.

As for the Sky/BBC thing. Blame the BBC - they wanted out and couldn't afford it, so approached SKY about it in the first place.

I thought about the whole thing and decided I would rather pay to see every race live on sky, instead of going to the British GP every year.

I enjoyed Korea TBH, Yes Vet won but I enjoy the racing and not the result.

I refuse to give any money to Sky. Because Sky.

It's the same story, F1 has always been like this so I don't understand the complaints. A team dominates for a period of time then someone new takes over, usually because of a major rule change.

So this guy's first post in the forum is to tell everyone he's watched his last F1 race?

Wow. So what do we say....Bye, thanks for stopping by? Lol

I know mate. But then, what would F1 be without its legion of moaning fans, constantly threatening to stop watching, and never actually doing so? :hehe::wink::wink:

Mate, F1 has been like this many times before. It's not rare for a team to dominate like RBR. They're not the first, and they're certainly not the last. Ferrari, McLaren and Williams have all had periods of similar domination, as have teams like Alfa Romeo back in the early 50s.

It must be remembered that this is a TEAM SPORT. RBR, and in particular Seb, is simply doing a better job than the rest.

Personally, take Vettel out of you're thinking (to be fair the TV didnt show a lot of Seb in Korea) and it has been a fairly exciting season, yesterdays Korean GP was better in my opinion than 2011 and 2012 and included some good battles.

Dont get me wrong, Horner/Newey/Vettel are doing very well, but it is a little boring up front, however, it doesnt mean because the leader is boringly winning that the action is rubbish - behind Vettel it has been quite exciting this season!

That said, I wouldnt mind if the stewards could give Vettel one of these dodgy 10 place grid penalties, would be fun to see Seb fighting through the pack ;)

In 1952, Alberto Ascari led for 304 consecutive laps. 5 races (out of 8 ) that no other driver led a single lap than Alberto Ascari in his Ferrari.
In 1988, Ayrton Senna led for 264 consecutive laps. 4 races (and the start of a 5th) that no other driver led a single lap than Ayrton Senna in his McLaren.
In 1989, Ayrton Senna led for 237 consecutive laps. 4 races (and the start of a 5th) that no other driver led a single lap than Ayrton Senna in his McLaren.
Even dear Kimi, in 2005, led lap after lap after lap after lap for 4 races, only broken up by a last lap tire faillure.
