Well, well, well. The title in the daily mail on F1 is ' Mclaren meltdown' ok it's the daily mail and they want a sensational headline. But I am open mouthed if some of the things they've said come anywhere close to true!
Several members of the team told sportsmail that they are dissatisfied . Some perceive him too casual about failure. One person( who asked to remain anonymous) said "he simply doesn't seem to care enough"
Ron has privately expressed his frustration with Whitmarsh to fellow board members, but his own position on the board is weakened after a falling out with Mansour Ojjeh ( tag holdings)
On Whitmarsh' first race in control of the team, the race where Lewis was told to lie to the stewards. HE WAS AWAY ON HOLIDAY WITH HIS PHONE SWITCHED OFF.

if that's true that just beggars belief!!
He overruled a consensus to take Hulkenberg as Lewis replacement.
He has brownies points for the Honda deal ............and he feels his position is secure. Hmmmmmmm

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
