Probably links to his brain but you dont want to go there, if you do you'd end up like those 'comeback from the dead' characters in Stephen Kings book 'Pet sematary'. :hehe:

When it comes to talk about Massa's future, after three years of Ferrari still not letting go of that drop-kick, I'm kind of meh about it.....

No point in me actually using a single synapse to process what will come of Massa.

It's a week before the Italian GP so where do you think Massa :banghead: is?

At the factory working with the team? :nono:

Practicing on a simulator? :nono:

Hanging out with his hommies in Brazil?

Maybe he just isn't bothered anymore. It must be very frustrating being Felipe at the moment.

Can you blame him? He's treated like someone less than human, even on the weekends when he was 'on it' he was either told to move over or his gearbox seal gets broken.

If I were him and I knew I'm not operating at 100% anyway thanks to the knock on my head and my team doesn't give a sh*t about me, I'd be planning my retirement funds and looking into good investments so I can chill on a beach after hanging up my helmet and get served tropical drinks by Hawaiian babes till I die.

"Less than human"?? He hasn't been "on his game" since his accident. YET, Ferrari have kept him on the payroll, they've supported his recovery, they've bent over backwards to "defend" their decision to keep him on! IF that's your definition for "less than human" I would suggest to you that there are any number of drivers in the Motor World who would gladly sign on the dotted line!!

As for dying with the babes in Hawaii, I'd bet Massa's wife would kill him before he woke up from even dreaming about it. :whip:

Questions for you....

1-If the team doesn't give a :censored: then why did he beg for another year?

2-If the team doesn't give a :censored: then why is he begging to stay another year?

3-If the team doesn't give a :censored: then why hasn't be said in public that he will move onto another team next year?

4-If he really cared about his job why did he never move to Italy, or Monaco or somewhere else in Europe to be closer to the team?

5-If they team didn't give a :censored: then why do they allow his posse to take up valuable space in the garage during race weekends?

6-If he really cared about his crew why does he not travel to the factory after race weekends to visit with the home based crew that builds his car and download with his engineering staff?

Bottom line Massa puts very little effort during the year to be close to the team.

Massa rarely visits Maranello unless he is "SUMMONED" by Stephanie or Papa Luca.

Massa failure is due to his lack of effort and caring for the members back at the factory.

Sending emails back to the factory is not the same as being at the factory having meetings with his teammates

If Massa cared he would have moved to Europe to be closer to the team not a 20+ hour flight away.

Why can't Massa find another ride? Because he won't move to Europe to be closer to team bases.

Heck even Kobi has moved to Europe to be closer to the action.

Why was Michael so loved at the factory (or hated) because he made the effort to be there on a regular basis the same as
Nando.

You always read about Nando visiting the factory after race weekends downloading with the engineers and showing support to
the team at the factory.

You always hear about Nando practicing on the race simulator for the next race to keep himself sharp

Do you ever read about Massa doing anything?

You can't be a top F1 driver if you don't put in the effort nor can you except the team to bend over backwards if you don't show
any interest.

As Massa got older he got lazy.

Ok, so you are saying that Massa is a terrible number 2 b***ch. Fair enough, with all the money he is being paid, he should work harder in the doormat number 2 role.
I agree, he has his wage, he knows the score, he should get some knee pads on and spend more time in the position :smileysex:

For his wage packet and for Ferrari keeping him in the job he should make more effort and losing performance because of being downtrodden is no excuse

For his sake he needs to leave as he is becoming a joke

As Barrichello did.

Barrichello was a joke as soon as he started wittering about there being no number 1 and number 2 driver, just numbers 1A and 1B. Did he seriously expect to be on the same footing as Schumacher?! The guy must have been drunk when he said it!

I think it is part of being an f1 driver. How can any driver be better than you. So 1a or 1b you will be the fastest! Right! Oh

That's a cynical way of looking at it; but, I guess any situation would lend itself to a positive/negative perspective!!
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, in this case!! :wavey:

Well...he's getting away with it, so why not continue doing it?

You don't need to be camping outside the factories to show your support, Kimi shows bugger all support and still gets treated like the CEO of Lotus simply by performing when he's on track and at race weekends.

Massa was indeed performing, especially towards the back of last season where he was continually treated as Ferrari's b!tch. So in my view he's in the same mindframe as Webber now, collect a fat paycheck and just act like you care until you get fired. In Webber's case his future is set, so he knows where he's going. Massa will go wherever he gets paid. :hehe:

Personally, I hope Ferrari keep him since I don't like Ferrari and I see him as a liability...but for Ferrari's sake they need to get rid of him for someone more driven. Until the new guy gets pissed off as well with the shoddy treatment and becomes another Massa. I mean, no driver at the sharp end will bother to give a 100% at the no.2 Redbull and Ferrari seats because they aren't built to be idiots, you don't reach F1 that way. You become demotivated, something Ferrari are pros at...cue Eddie Irvine, Rubens Barrichello, Kimi Raikkonen (2008), and now Massa. The next victim is yet to be announced.
