Actually, Scotland doesn't have bank holidays. We have Public Holidays.

I even looked it up online and it isn't a holiday up here. Either way, makes hee haw difference to me. I'd still be working.

It's not something that bothers me though. As a family we're used to someone working through Christmas and New Year.

Oh and it turns out that Monday isn't a holiday in Aberdeen. For reasons best known to the local authority, we had our Summer Public Holiday on the 8th July - linky dinky doo dah

Wow. I feel thats quite ret***ed. Each local council having its own Public Holidays. Can't wait until your Country has Independence. It's going to be fun to watch.

In a fair election it wouldn't happen but letting 16 year olds and immigrants who wouldn't normally qualify for voting rights is going to be a huge help. The time for Independence was '78 (or was it '79?), not now when the North Sea is less profitable. It'll be a disaster if Scotland gets Independence.

The time for Independence was '78 (or was it '79?), not now when the North Sea is less profitable. It'll be a disaster if Scotland gets Independence.
