No, I think Hamilton left because of the suckass 2013 car. :D

We all know why the 2013 car sucks, it's because it was developed mostly by Hamilton and Lowe, both then left the team, the car was being developed with Hamilton in mind until he dropped the bombshell that he was off to pastures new. I smell a conspiracy!

Yep they should be up on charges for sabotaging Mclaren.

But they need that Mexicans sponsor money. Best not piss him off or exclude him from the love-in too much.

2013 Mclaren. Designed by Lowe, for Hamilton but driven by Button

Got anything useful to say Hammer? instead of the circular commentary about Button... will someone please kick the record player, it seems to have gotten stuck!

Even if they did design the car around Button, which I don't see evidence coming from McLaren that they did that, it wouldn't cost them that much time. And once they figured it out, that it was costing them, they'd just revert. I can't see that being a major factor in the cars poor pace, even if it does exist, principles of aero-dynamic design, weight distribution, the way the car works it's tyres would have surely taken pirority. The engineers design the car they think will go fastest.

Hey useless comments deserve useless replies. Who cares who was the most recent British Champion....Vettel is the most recent German champion, so he's better than Schumacher was? It's just sad how the desperate Button fans are grasping at straws "most recent Brit champ", "more points over 3 years" I mean come on.

The analogy isn't the same, as Schumacher has 7, Vettel has 3 (probably to become 4), Jenson has 1, Hamilton has 1.

Point taken, but what's the value of "most recent" exactly? Any value at all? Ask most people about 2009 and they don't even remember who won the championship...casual watchers just go "oh yeah wasn't that highlighter colored car winning a lot of races?"

It has value to distinguish, for example to measure current success, but its not much value, and neither driver has retired so its not too relevant. Plus I don't think the dates are normally what people compare on anyway, so not much value.

Not sure how many people remember who won in 2009, I wouldn't say that's a measure of value, he won whether a person can remember it or not.
