That's the first time I've seen Jim Carrey described as an excellent actor!

I would sooner spread raspberry jam on my nadgers and stick them in a nest of angry wasps than watch any film with him in it, even if he was an extra in the background that you could hardly see. Just knowing he's been within a 5 mile radius of a film is enough, I think without going overboard.

He is truly terrible.

So you've not seen him in the two films I've mentioned then? If you are judging his acting ability of films such as Ace Ventura and Cable Guy, then I'm not surprised that's your opinion of him. He really can pull off a serious role.
