McLaren had better race pace today, and it was good to see them fighting with Merc, RBR, Ferrari and Lotus.

Let's hope the upward trend continues. Shame about the extra stop for Button.

Did we watch the same race?

What I saw was Perez and Button on a similar strategy...and then Button pealing off into the pits right after his teammate owned him, crying for new tyres...when he should've braved it out and got a lot more points than he did by wimping out.

They're definately moving forward, as one would expect of McLaren.

All I seem to remember today is that Jenson and Sergio seemed to be constantly overtaking Nico. I though I had pressed rewind by mistake as they must of overtaken him about 15 times lol.

I loved seeing McLaren being able to fight with teams ahead of them in the WCC. If they can make some big strides by Barcelona, I'll be overjoyed! :)

That's because Nico kept repassing them, since the McLaren drivers didn't know how to keep their place whenever they got past Nico. Top job by Nico as well, he's as strong as Lewis in defending a position.

It was at this very circuit, of course, that Nico made his debut, setting the fastest lap along the way. Seems ages ago now!
