I have found Perez to be uninspiring this year. He showed so much promise last year, but for one reason or another I have not seen the same from him this year.

I think it's underestimated just how good the Sauber and Williams cars really were last year and on occasion might have flattered the drivers.

Perez has got some serious catching up to do. Button has been excellent this year.

All a matter of perspective. :hehe: When the quicker driver leaves, and a lost case takes his place...its easy to look excellent.

All assumptions! we will never know because they are not in the same team... JB was the better driver in 2011, who's to say it wouldn't be the same in '13!

I get the feeling that Perez is currently overwhelmed by the responsibility of being in a top tier team. Maybe the jump from Sauber was too soon and instead of being based on form and future prospects, it was based on necessity. I really hope he (and JB to some lesser extent) pull it out the bag pretty soon as it's good to see Mclaren up there fighting with the best. Imagine a JB and LH front row of the grid at Silverstone?? Bliss.

What a delightful surprise the Button bashers are at their usual best.

OK, I need to apologise to the Forum, I was on the red wine and got grumpy, sorry for typing out what I thought, these things are better left untyped  I'm a bit disappointed in Hammer though, I was expecting the meme of the girl crying saying "Leave Jenson Alone":rofl:

This is indeed a place where you can say what you want, I did but I am not happy with being drunk and shouty so sorry again. I should contribute more then everyone will ignore me if I have a bad (or boozy) day.

Jenson did well, Perez has never inspired me, honestly The Hulk would have been a far better choice. I support MacLaren because of DC and Mika, then DC and Kimmi (my dream team) I have always liked Jenson but always supported Kimmi. When Jenson and Lewis were paired I always knew Lewis would win the battle, Lewis is a special driver, Kimmi is, Alonso is.

I actually support Kimmi, then Jenson but I know Lewis and Fernando and Sebastian are better than Jenson. I KNOW THAT McLAREN IS A LESSER TEAM WITHOUT LEWIS, I just dont need it shoved down my throat at every opportunity.

So are we cool that I can go onto Lewis threads and slag the ugly dog and then say that Roscoe will have breathing problems and joint problems because he was never meant to look like that :hehe:

@Iheartkimi Nice one Iheartkimi  . No worries, I do the same after wine. Sometimes I think...No...I didn't really write that last night did I....uh uh, yes I did :hehe: it's good to have you on board . It would be a boring forum if we all thought the same. I don't like Jenson and am probably over harsh towards him in reaction to the fawning media ( Eddie Jordan was gushing all weekend) I see a different Jenson behind the cheeky chappy , one who undermined Lewis' position in the team in a devious way. It's hard to just forget all that. But that's just my view and I have absolute respect for people who do support Jenson. I'm obviously coming at this from a complete Lewis perspective.
I also think some of the agro against Mclaren comes from last year ( perhaps before you came on the forum) when a few of us suggested Whitmarsh was not up to the job and things weren't working well at Mclaren. We were shouted down big time!
You might be surprised to hear that I've been a McLaren supporter above all other teams since Juan Pablo Montoya was there. I always thought, What will I do if Lewis leaves McLaren??? But when it happenned I'd become so disenchanted with the Whitmarsh Mclaren that the choice was easy. Anyway, enough of that. I do hope you keep posting, you need to help Myownalias and Jabberwocky balance us Lewis freaks out :hehe: and us girls need to stick together...we are well outnumbered on here!

I'm with you all the way on Kimi, I really like him and his attitude.

I'll take it on the chin about Roscoe. :hehe: He probably will have breathing problems. But I just think he's adorable. When my life is more settled I want one of those, or a pug ( equally ugly but smaller) until then I'll have to be content with watching Roscoe. :)

Some special times, Jenson can be better than the rest... Many were saying he is gonna be slower than Sergio. Imo he occasionally can outperform Lewis, and the other top drivers (at least on Sundays). This year, beside the joke (mp4-28) played on us and the usual pit panic, he has been flawless until now.
If McL had taken the choice to evolve last years car, I am sure Button would have the championship lead by now and Perez would have been much more confident in the car. :banghead:
Anyway, I would give Sergio some time to settle in, it has been a very bad start for us...
Still I am waiting for the Spain upgrades, before I'll give up my hopes for this damn year. :crying:
