Well what usually happens after spooning?

Forking...? No! no! I've got it - knifing (kniving!?).........?

Thus the phrase, at it like knives.

Wahey! :P

Now the rest of the naysayers can politely STFU.

No chance, especially not certain ex drivers. McNish (who he?) and Stewart (who was he?) cant help themselves

The rent-a-gob brigade have gone from

'Lewis has messed up by moving from a top team' to

'He is being favoured'

next up will be

'His car is too good, he is in the best team'

then

'He needs to go prove himself at a lesser team'

Glad to have you back mate, and for bringing it back on topic. :hehe:

I back Nico to get the better of Lewis this weekend though, he's on form and qualified on the front 2 rows for the past 4 years now. If Lewis beats him in qualifying here, I'd be surprised.

Schumacher named Mercedes ambassador

Schumacher retired for a second time from the sport at the end of last season after spending three years with Mercedes.
Following talks between the 44-year-old and the German manufacturing giant, Schumacher has signed a long-term agreement to help Mercedes with their development of future road safety initiatives.
Schumacher said: "The future interests me much more than the present and past.
"During my Formula One time I always believed that you must not allow yourself to rest on your laurels, but that you must continuously try to improve.
"In so doing I was very often able to rely on the help of all the technologies available to me in the car and use them to my advantage.
"That is why I am a declared supporter of driving assistance systems, both in the racing car and in the road-going car."
With regard to his future with Mercedes, Schumacher added: "I wanted to have a clearly defined remit within the new partnership.
"I find it very exciting to be able to contribute towards further developments and the optimisation of safety together with the inventor of the car."

Good for Old Man Schumi finding a good spot to contribute to the Mercedes brand! Happy for him and Merc to put him somewhere where he can be great asset finally. :)

Shame, I always thought he may replace Martin Whitmarsh at McLaren.

F!cking hell, I'm funny.

How many ex-F1 drivers have done a good job at managing a team?

I'm not doubting Schumacher's management skills, I was making a rather crap joke about him leading McLaren, after that infamous and glorious rivalry between the two most successful F1 teams of all time, in the late 90s and early 2000s. :hehe:

I don't think he gives a damn about that...it's a huge slap in Ferrari's face when he joined Mercedes, and now being ambasaddor. I bet he would take up lead role in McLaren to rub it in Ferraris faces even more.

Technically right, though that was when these guys were taking their own cars and building them from scratch and racing them all by themselves and a privately funded team....I'm talking about F1 as a sport it is today with the media, sponsors, its a totally different kettle now. In terms of an adequate timeframe, say 1980s onwards.

Ecclestones a bit of a stretch. Cant say he cant run a team, but its hard to say he was a driver of any note
