Is anyone still buzzing after today's race? I'm loving this season so far, both races have been close, and no-one's run away with a lead / race win. And now we've got a good old controversy bubbling. Top times. :D

I thought I was buzzing earlier then I realised it was my guitar amp.

:rofl::whip:

I thought I was buzzing earlier then I realised it was my toothbrush.

Next?

Oooo you don't want to know.....:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

I thought I was buzzing earlier the I realised it was the intercom.

Any advance on that?

I thought I was buzzing earlier then I realised it was the noise the tumble dryer makes when I press the start button with the door open.

Help, I'm running out of things I have that buzz.

Interesting quote by LH.
It’s not the same as back in the day when you had stints where you are pushing to the maximum the whole time, you had tyres that would last. Now you’re just... it’s like you have a hundred dollars and you have to spend it wisely over a period of time. It makes racing a lot different. It’s more strategic rather than pure speed racing.

Much more fun to spend the 100 dollars on blow and hookers! :hehe:

There were a few failures from the teams today that showed. Both RB and Merc did not make the best decisions for the team. First RB-The final result was what should have been. SV was faster and needs every point he can get for the championship just like Ferrari are already looking after Alonso when Massa let Alonso overtake him in the first few turns. Webber tried to put Vettel in the wall down the straight like schumi did to barichello :hehe: . That was dirty. I'm glad Seb didn't listen to his engineer. RB needed those drivers to finish the way they did. It was also a great fight! Webber needs to keep his words within the team and not on the podium. 2nd rate driver. Second-Merc knew Rosberg was faster and I dont know why they didn't let him pass Hamilton. Dont think Hamilton would have gotten close enough to Rosberg after that to make a move. Big plus to both Hamilton and Rosberg for acknowleding Rosberg was faster and for Rosberg listening to orders. Hamilton had some great words on the podium, hats off to him. For those wishing for RB to implode with this just remember it was much worse in 2010 and look at the final result there. In the end they are a world class team and need their top driver to get all the points he can to challenge Alonso who will most likely be the biggest challenge this year!

I wonder what the Ferrari fans think of all this.

Speaking of Ferrari, was there any word on whether the decision to stay out one more lap was made by Alonso or the team?

Ferrari took the blame:

Stefano Domenicali has confirmed it was Ferrari's decision to leave Fernando Alonso's damaged car out on track in the Malaysian Grand Prix, which caused the Spaniard to crash out.

From row two, Alonso made a good start to challenge leader Sebastian Vettel, but he got too close to the Red Bull and nudged its rear at Turn 2.

Alonso continued in second, under attack from Mark Webber, until the front wing folded under the car approaching the first corner on lap two.

The Ferrari went off and Alonso was unable to get the F138 out of the gravel. The team had hoped he could continue until it was time to pit for dry tyres.

"We took a risk that didn't pay off," admitted Domenicali.

"After the touch, the race was not over and I considered the situation where there was a transition from wet to dry.

"In normal conditions you would come in, but in this transition, if you believe the wing can survive, you try and bide your time. You may have the chance to pit to change to the dry tyres and be the hero of the weekend.

"Unfortunately the wing didn't stay there."

Domenicali underlined it had been the team's decision to take the risk, not Alonso's.

"The decision was from the pitwall," he added. "Obviously Fernando can feel it in the car, but he could not see the damage from his view.

"We take the responsibility as the team. The 'kiss' [on Vettel's car] was unfortunate because we could have taken good points from this race.

"Fernando's not happy to come away with zero points, but he's positive and looking forward because he knows we have something to play with."

Pretty dumbass move by Ferrari IMO, that front wing was throwing sparks the entire lap! Way dumber than their WDC losing decision in Abu Dhabi 2 years ago.

Let's face it, MW was slower than SV. SV complained and was told to be patient in lap 19 or so. Ok, so he backed off (and people say MW was faster then  ). So, SV was patient, and patient and then finally the pressure cooker steamed and he took his chance and was squeezed badly in the process by MW :banghead:
Why was Red Bull protecting MW is mindboggling to me. From the get go with that comment to SV about remaining patient - wtf? He IS the faster driver, he IS the no. 1 driver in the team, he IS the defending triple world champion. Get on with the program Red Bull, take a page from Ferrari and shut up MW - there are plenty of second-rate drivers out there who would lick their fingers to play second fiddle to SV. :banghead:
