It's ridiculous. I'm happy to get up to watch the race at a time that is best for the hosting country. ( a worse issue for me is not having sky so can't watch live for most races unless I go to someone's house who does have sky)
I think most serious uk fans are happy to get up at whatever time to watch the race. All part of the package.

I think it depends on the country... they don't try that sh!t here in the western hemisphere.

No, because us Europeans are still up when your afternoon rolls around.....

They they should have all of the races over here. We've got lots of countries too.

Think about it Stetsons in Austin is the trend started last year, why stop there?
Sombreros in Mexico City.
Panama Hat in Panama City.
Gaucho Hat in the Buenos Aires GP.
Alpaca Wool Peruvian Hat for the GP of Lima.
...and of course a thong in the Brazilian GP.

It seems ages since we had a dry, sunny race here. When was the last one? Something like the inaugural one in 1999?

That race made me chuckle. Old man Schuey back after 5 races away owning the field! Pity he had to pull over to let Eddie Irvine win.

It was also the race where Eddie Irvine scored his last points. Stewart GP also scored their final points at this race.

First GP2 of the season, and we get THIS.....

No wonder we have bad constant crashes in F1 if this is the quality of driver coming through.....

Yet the seven times world champion, Michael Schumacher did much worse; yet he'll be considered a great because of his achievements using such methods!

What the...

Edit: I notice that both were penalised, but unless there was something else slightly before the clip, I didn't think Bird had really done much to impede Cecotto. :/

I assume their was something that happened before. For some reason I get the impression Bird was on a slow lap and had got in Cecotto's way on his flying lap. I have nothing to back that up though.....

Surely Cecotto wouldn't do it for no reason.....?

I know MSC did some awful moves back in they day .... But none THAT blatant.... At least he tried to even pretend they were accidental....? No?
