Yeah and ignorance exits when you only see and comment on one of those wrongs.

You were all into a MacLaren conspiracy and total nonsense last season, and the fact that on the Button thread you 'fans' were still whining about the rear wing.

You did hear that Lewis left McLaren for a mid grid team with just 1 win?

I think that proves beyond doubt that all was not well at Mclaren :wavey:

It may, however the birth of ignorance is when you only see what you want to see.

Read through this thread and find me examples of how many of all of these Lewis 'fans' are bashing McLaren and I can find you an example to match going the other way. So cut the sob story, por favor.

Just like with any type of movement or school of thought you will find different types of membership. Saying 'all lewis fans' are the same is so lame. You will have the nice reasonable ones, you will have the shy retiring types, and ofcourse you will have the more ahem 'uncompromising ones'

Its really sour grapes when a bullying type used to getting his own way finds it increasingly uncomfortable to pick the wrong fights and so resorts to labelling all the same. A bit like hiding behind the teacher when there was no complaint previously

Be my guest, I guarantee its heavily in the Lewis fans corner.
And point is where is your outrage when Cookingflat goes on one of his McLaren tirades? You are quite happy for him to bad mouth people yet when a bloke speaks out against said poster there you are rolling your eyes at him.
Then you have the audacity to use the term hypocrite?

Some people manage to say what they say and stay well within the rules, it's a gift. Others on the other hand quickly start spewing personal attacks, and others still then go right to the profanity but that's not all, por ejemplo; We've all said what we were going to say on the topic and any more would mean we'd be breaking one of the guidelines (we wouldn't want to do that) of repetitive and consistently argumentative behavior.

So let's all get back to discussing Mclaren shall we?

Nice underlying threat there... :P Given what you just said, I still fail to see where poor iheartKimmi deserved the wrath of your rolling eyed smilie. Correct me if I'm wrong for I'm not a moderator but no rules were broken in his post, Yet you still had a go at him.

Oh yes your threat... McLaren it is, what would you like to talk about in regards to son of Laren?

OK, check this out:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21655985

It's looking more and more likely McLaren will switch to Honda power for 2015.

Oh yes please, that has a world of benefits. Not least introducing another Engine manufacturer into the mix for teams like FI and WILLIAMS( ) to purchase, it adds more competitiveness.

EDIT: I didn't log onto the forum since November last year, I left to people arguing about Hamilton on the McLaren thread, and I return 4 months later, in a different year with Hamilton in a different team, to see the same arguments going on....

Ron should be able to pull this off and it will be good for the whole sport especially McLaren. Having Merc engines as a customer would greatly weaken the team no matter what.

However this has been in the air for a while and Honda do not look ready for 2014, hopefully they will have a competitive engine for 2015 notwithstanding the other manufacturers year head start

Also it has been said that Merc was pushing for a definitive answer from McLaren in the next few days, I hope this 'news' is not just a reaction from Mclaren and that Honda are definitely willing and able for 2015

Another engine manufacturer is always welcomed, but if that's the case then I think we'll be bidding adieu to Cosworth so overall it's a net sum. If these rumors turn out to be true, then Honda getting to see how the Mercedes engines work for a year before having to run their engines in 2015 may be more than enough to compensate for being a year late to the party.

Thank you Bud for sticking up for me. I'm a woman though :wavey: I would like to ask the Moderator, What's Burning, where I spewed personal attacks and went right to the profanity. I have not been guilty of any of that nor repetitive and consistently argumentative behaviour. If you look at the "Team Button" thread, that was started to attack Button, not to support him and nothing was said about that. I see nasty things said about Button here every day, and it is the the Lewis Fanpeople who say it.

I love F1, I have my favourite team and my favourite drivers, I love going to races and the wonderful thing is that no matter what team we support we can all sit together at the race and after it and talk about who did well and who didn't.

It is not my intention to stir up trouble but just to say my wee bit in defense of my team and my drivers. Seems giving support on a thread for my team is frowned upon. Go for it Mods, you know you can! Soon this will be a site of all Mods, Bud and Andrew :hehe:
