I think that's a lot to do with the very wide angle lens used to take the picture. There is however a bit of controversy about William's exhaust port, another slit in the middle but apparently Williams are trying to skirt the issue by claiming it's two separate outlets and as long as the aperture is not exceeded then it's okay by the regulations.

I think the Williams engineers must have spent all winter playing tetris, they've managed to get a hell of a lot of gear into what doesn't look like a lot of space!

Wow, that's an incredibly interesting car there.

Really it's a shame aero takes such priority in F1, cause Williams are still one of, if not the best pure race car engineering teams on the grid.

It looks funny. It looks like the back bit could just snap off. Haven't they said its not legal? I thought they had said that.

No the engine cover of theirs is fine, the illegal part in question is the little bridge on the exhaust you can see in the picture attached to the article.
