This is pretty interesting too, although it has little to do with space, it is Swiss. Being a scientist in the 1800's had to be the coolest ever.

If you ask me, it is already in a black hole.

Bring back the Swiss GP. Imagine the scenery surrounding the circuit. That's the only reason I ask for its return :hehe:

I thought the Swiss goverment was very anti motorsport.

Or maybe they're just anti-non profits....this country leans only to the most profitable of industries (tasty cash deposits and collectors items such as watches, arts) and motorsports isn't one of them when you look at how its failing in some countries out there.

I think they've come or are in the process of coming out of the dark ages in this respect?

Switzerland has lifted a 52 year old ban on any form of motor racing taking part in the country. The ban was first introduced following the more than 80 deaths in the disaster at the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The ban was lifted following heated discussions within the Swiss parliament with some arguing that the reintroduction of the sport could help the countries component manufacturers and the tourism industry, while others argued that the sport wasn't good for the environment.

The final voting saw the ban lifted with 97 votes for and 77 against.

Good to know, now I just need to find a nice plot of land for my race track :-)

Which is hard to come by in a country that is 2/3 rock (the Alps and the Jura) and the rest is so densely populated that land prices are through the roof.
