Mods, any chance we can merge this thread with this...

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=11289&start=270

They're practically the same.

As WB said, this thread is geared towards next year...when they won't be teammates. That thread is for 2012?

Same topic though.

If they're merged, the thread will not have the 2012 in the name.

As expected. Hamilton pushes, Button plays wisely and in the end still gets more points.

Well yes...when you easily dismiss Hamiltons DNFs while leading GPs this season and the numerous f**ckups by his team? Lewis lost easily 75 points this season and that's not even taking pit stop failures and the fuel messup in Barcelona into account.

Typical JB fan writeup. If we're talking strictly facts and figures, Hamilton 2 to Buttons 1, end of story.

He lost more than 75 Hammer, over 110 conservative estimate Ive read. It's not just the retirements from the lead. There's the fuel screw up, the pitstop screw ups, the roll bar failure, the other rear wing failure, the puncture, the other two crash kids, the list is very long.

Yeah, but when the stats seem to suit the lame duck in the team, his fans come out in droves talking facts since whatifs do not matter. So let's disregard all those whatifs, and just keep it black and white, 2:1, Lewis wins the partnership and now we can watch how McLaren handles themselves with Button leading them in 2013.
