I'm relaxed about the race tomorrow. Vettel's only 24 and already has 2 titles. He's got a hell of a long carreer ahead of him and plenty time to win number 3. Heck, Schumacher was 25 when he won his first title and he went on to win quite a few races and titles. :D

Damn, I will stick to the water! :D
I get so excited watching F1 and I drink loads of water, and then when the pee time comes, it's a torture...

Glad you 2 found something to get you relaxed...... hopefully it was legal
:D

I'm always relaxed. I've found that it's best to go through life generally not giving a :censored: about the unimportant stuff that I can't alter and isn't going to have any impact on me.

We Vettel fans are truly loving persons...:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Well to other Vettel fans at least. :hehe:

Guess i should have said relaxed AND on a more positive mind frame :hehe:

Are the fans of Alonso and everyone who wants him to win the title such wan*ers that they all wish Vettel to have a DNF??? Everywhere I look it's the same story... FFS, why the need to wish someone harm, in this case DNF? It sucks, and everyone who wants Vettel to DNF S.U.C.K.S.
There you go, and think about it a bit... :wavey:

I suck.

To be fair to alonso fans, a dnf is probably the only way he'll win the championship considering the significant advantage of the red bull car.....wishing for dnf is not the same as wishing for a driver to have an injury(there are a lot of ways a driver can have a dnf without getting into an accident)...

Since it hasn't been discussed much, I'll just say that I think the Ferrari strategy of banking on rain is the correct one. At the moment the Ferrari isn't as fast as the Red Bull, and the McLaren is even faster. The chance of Alonso being able to beat Vettel by a sufficient margin if both teams have the same strategy is small, and Alonso's best chance is rain. So, they might as well put all their eggs in that basket.

The BBC commentators were saying that Ferrari might look very clever or very silly after the race, depending on what the weather is. But that's the wrong way to look at it, IMHO. Nobody can predict exactly what weather we'll get, so they have to make their decisions based on that. If we have a dry race and Alonso is slow, I don't think that would make Ferrari look silly, just unlucky in this instance. There's a difference.

I remember someone here posting how they'd "laugh" at Alonso if his gearbox failed - was he a wan*er too?

I'm hoping Alonso wins the title and Vettel finishes.

That's what Alonso would want too. Winning when your competitor has fallen completely is never as good as a sound defeat.

Quite a few people have said this. It's the irony that makes it funny.

But yeah, wishing misfortune on a competitor is rather unsporting.

I don't think we'll get a clean start today. Something tells me that one of the main players (or more) are going to get taken out around the first corner or two.

There's a lot at stake today for Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren and as we all know, the first corner isn't wide enough to accomodate everyone. Weather looks dodgy too.

Looking forward to it. :D

Jenson Button is looking forward to battling for the win with team-mate Lewis Hamilton at Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix after the McLaren pair locked out the front row.

Button and Hamilton were split by less than a tenth of a second in qualifying after McLaren enjoyed an upturn in form to qualify ahead of both Red Bulls. The forecast for Sunday is wet, but Button is looking forward to one last battle with his team-mate before Hamilton leaves for Mercedes next year.

"We're there to win the grand prix as I think every driver is, unless it's team-mates fighting for the world championship," he said. "So, we both want to win the race tomorrow, that's the aim for both of us. So we'll see what we can do. The car seems to be working very well in the dry, our long-run pace is pretty good, but as you said, there's a massive chance of rain tomorrow and that just throws it up in the air for us.

"It's quite exciting for two people, their stress levels are going to be through the roof. But for us starting near the front it's hopefully going to be a very exciting race. We just have to hope that the rain level is OK for us to actually race. That's always the worry here in Interlagos."

Button said McLaren had upped its game this weekend and admitted it was a pity things were changing next year.

"I'm not going to point at areas where you lose or gain time. It was a good time but Lewis's was half a tenth quicker. Very happy to be on the front row as the last couple of races have been a bit tricky in qualifying. So yeah, good, as Lewis said, it's great to both be on the front row for his last grand prix for the team. The team's in great shape at the moment and it's a pity things have got to change, but things do change."
